Hello everyone, we had a wonderful opening weekend and I’m excited to say we are open today.
We have 8 in of groomed snow on all of our open trails. The only trails not open for the season are Wild Rice, Bear Creek and Catfish. There are classic tracks set on Pitchpine, Laurel and Boardpile; our groomer is coming within the next few days to lay down some more.
There is a layer of frozen snow on top causing for some fast skiing, however, it hasn’t turned to ice so there is still control. Suitable for all skiing levels. Perfect for skate skiing.
There are some twigs poking out on some of the upper trails, but no rocks. It isn’t worth bringing out the old skis for.
