Beginner skiers today said the trails felt icy, and experienced skiers said conditions are great. Tracks will not be set tomorrow. They are especially good for skaters. We picked up a lot of debris today, though there is still some on the trails.

We received lots of rain and ice over the last couple days. It is still precipitating, and we won’t be able to fully understand the conditions until the precipitation stops later this afternoon. However, we will likely not be able to open tomorrow Saturday 2/5 as debris needs to be cleaned up, the moisture on the trails needs to settle, and conditions need to be assessed. Due to the rain and ice we got today Thursday 2/3, we will not be able to open tomorrow. We won’t be able to determine the conditions for the weekend until tomorrow afternoon, as it is dependent on how much snow stays on the ground and if we get any fresh snow on top. Stay tuned for updates.
