22 February, 9am

Flurries are coming down with some wind; the mountain is a bit of a “white – out” at the moment — not great visibility on the roads.

The flurries will turn into snow showers mid-morning, and come down through early afternoon. The Township will most likely not be up to plow until after the storm.

The power company is here working up Board Pile, and heading onto the Oak Loops, so the upper trails will be closed for the day.

22 February, 2021: 5:31

We plan to be open today from 9:00am – 4:30pm, but are expecting around 5 inches of snow throughout the day today so stay tuned on road and trail conditions.

We’ll be operating out of the ski shop, so all skiers can check in there.

21 February 4:40pm

Great day of skiing today! We had around 150 skiers and conditions were great through the day. We expect to be open tomorrow from 9am – 4:30pm, though the forecast is calling for snow during the day tomorrow. Stay tuned!

21 February, 2021: 5:27am

We will be open today from 9:00am – 4:30pm!

Conditions were great yesterday and should remain so today. We have touched up with grooming some of our trails early this morning. The forecasted high temperature for today is just above freezing, so there’s a chance trails might get a little sticky this afternoon but should be good overall.

The mountain road has been good and safe all weekend and should remain so today as well. We look forward to seeing more happy skiers today!

Some reminders:

  • NO FOOD OR DRINKS SOLD: This year, we cannot offer any food or drinks, and all personal food is pack in, pack out.

  • DIRECTIONS: Do not follow any GPS or internet directions. Any other route from US 220 does not have winter maintenance and is impassable. If you must use your GPS, use it to do to Tivoli, PA, on US 220, then follow our directions at our sign at the Highland Lake Road.

20 February, 2021: 2:03pm

Great day of skiing so far today! Trail conditions have remained very good, not sticky or slushy. We also still have some available parking spaces.

20 February, 2021: 5:30am

We will be open today from 9:00am – 4:30pm!

Our trail conditions are panning out better than expected this weekend. Our groomer didn’t experience any icy spots on the trails while grooming yesterday, and the trails have set nicely overnight. All main trails are groomed.

Snowshoers will need to stay on snowshoe trails only, now that the trails are groomed.

Our road is also lightly cindered and is not too slick, and the township road is fine.

19 February, 2021: 2:33pm

We are having better trail conditions than expected! Our groomer hasn’t felt any icy spots on the trails while grooming, and expects that the groomed trails will set nicely overnight. All the lower trails are groomed and we will be working on grooming the upper trails throughout this afternoon.

Snowshoers will need to stay on snowshoe trails only now that the trails are groomed.

Our road is also lightly cindered and is not too slick.

We will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am – 4:30pm, and hope to see many happy skiers throughout the weekend!

19 February, 2021: 10:26am

Come on up to ski or snowshoe today – we’re offering HALF DAY RATES all day!

We ended up getting 4-5 inches of snow, so the trails should be great even without grooming. We will see what we can do in regards to grooming for the weekend.

The mountain road is also fine to drive up. Our road is still a bit icy and doesn’t have cinders, but is not bad and those with 4-wheel-drive, all-wheel-drive, and/or snow tires should be fine!

19 February, 2021: 5:31am

We will be open through the weekend starting today with un-groomed trails for skiing and snowshoeing! We only have around 3 inches of fresh snow, which isn’t enough to adequately groom on top of the frozen layer that remains from the ice storm. Because the trails won’t be groomed, all trails will also be open for snowshoeing until we’re able to groom again.
HALF DAY RATES will be charged all day!
Please be aware that many of our trails will still have branches and debris down from the storm. Our road is also very slick and will not be cindered.
