March Trail Update

Hi friends,

As most of you in this area know, it’s not been a very snowy winter at all! We’ve not gotten snow to ski this year, and it’s not looking likely to happen for the remainder of the season. That being said, we are open during the week from 9am – 5pm for hiking on the trails, and we’d love to see you up here!

Please note that in May, the Crystal Lake Ski and Outdoor Center will be closed to the public until our Trail Race on August 26.

Fall Weekday Property Use

Hi friends,

The Crystal Lake Ski and Outdoor Center is open for day use activities such as hiking, boating, and fishing during the week this fall. Due to staffing, we’re not able to open for day use activities on weekends or for lodging.

We appreciate your support!

Open for day use and lodging through May 1!

We are open for lodging day use activities through May 1, including hiking, fishing, biking, boating, sports, and horseback riding!

Please contact us at least two days in advance for day use, and at least one week in advance for lodging to reserve your spot at clskioutdoor@crystallakecamps.org or (570) 584-5608. Select days or weekends may be unavailable.

Closed for the season – thanks for coming out and enjoying the woods with us this winter!

Closed for the season for skiing and snowshoeing – thanks for coming out and enjoying the woods with us this winter!

Due to spring conditions, we will be closed for the remainder of the season for skiing and snowshoeing.

It has been a great season. A big shout out to our trail groomers for working so hard to maintain beautiful trail conditions. And thank you to everyone who has come out to enjoy our property this winter and share in the joy of winter activities! We look forward to seeing you again very soon.
P.S. Our trail groomers are still up and running! Little lego man wish it would keep snowing.

Open for skiing and snowshoeing this week for as long as the snow lasts!

We will be open every day this week for skiing and snowshoeing from 9:00am-4:30pm for as long as there is enough snow coverage. We will be operating out of our main office, so please stop there (at the sign in the road) to check in before heading down to the Ski Shop.

Current Trail Conditions

We’re going to remain open as long as there is enough snow coverage on the ground while the weather warms. It is very much spring conditions, which means the bulk of trails still have skiable cover, but there are spots where grass is coming through, and there are areas where it is firm and fast. We’re here for you if you need to get your final ski fix in for the season!

Road Conditions

Most of the mountain road has no ice; our road has a little ice which should slush up with the warm temperatures tomorrow. Most cars should be fine driving in, but if you are wary, we recommend that guests have snow tires, chains, 4WD and/or AWD. Crystal Lake is not responsible for assisting anyone who gets stuck. The best option is to call non-emergency police for assistance, or Shrewsbury township for plow help: (570) 584-3079.
