We will be closed Monday 2/7 and will reopen Tuesday 2/8. We will be open every day from 9-4:30 through next weekend as conditions allow. Temperature highs are supposed to reach above freezing most days next week, so it is unclear if we will lose any more snow or how that will effect trail conditions. Stay tuned for updates.
Currently the trails are 1/4 inch of groomed powder on top of 4″ of frozen granular. Beginner skiers are saying the trails feel icy, and experienced skiers are saying the conditions are fast but great. The trails are especially good for skaters. No tracks are currently set. A lot of the debris has been cleaned up, though there is still some on the trails.
Road Conditions
The mountain road is slick in some places due to the freezing rain. We strongly recommend that guests have snow tires and/or chains to make it up the mountain. Crystal Lake is not responsible for assisting anyone who gets stuck. The best option is to call non-emergency police for assistance, or Shrewsbury township for plow help: (570) 584-3079.
