Dear skiers,
We are incredibly grateful and excited that we are still able to be open this winter season for skiing and other fun winter activities! We are really looking forward to having you up at Crystal Lake to enjoy the outdoors, ski, have fun, and be active.

Crystal Lake Ski Center COVID-19 Regulations and Procedures
Pennsylvania State Orders
The Secretary of Health issued an order requiring travelers over age 11 entering Pennsylvania from locations outside the Commonwealth, including Pennsylvanians who are returning home from locations outside the Commonwealth, to produce evidence of a negative COVID-19 test or place themselves in quarantine for 10 days without testing or a 7-day quarantine with a negative test on or after day 5 of quarantine.

Everyone on property will be required to wear face masks and maintain social distancing at all times when interacting with anybody outside of their family members. Staff will wear gloves when interacting with guests.
Extra sanitizing measures will take place daily each open day, including thoroughly sanitizing all commonly touched surfaces and rental equipment. Sanitizing wipes will be provided in the Ski Center bathrooms, and anyone who uses the bathrooms will be required to sanitize all surfaces after each use. We will also be circulating the air in the Ski Center.
Check-in Process
The check-in lines will be separated into two lines – one for rentals and one for non-rentals.
The “No rentals needed” line will form outside (location TBD), and a staff member will be checking people in using the portable POS system and a separate sign-in sheet. A tent and table will be set up to ease the process.
The “Rentals needed” line will go into the Ski Center, where guests will follow the normal check-in process and get fitted for skiing equipment.
There will be markers on the ground to indicate how far guests should stay spaced while in both lines. Staff will briefly review the rules and regulations with each group during the check-in process. A “script” will be provided.
Traffic Flow and Other Logistics
The maximum occupancy number in the Ski Center, in addition to the staff, will be one family unit plus one additional individual for restroom needs. 
Guests’ “homebase” will be their cars. They should store all of their belongings there, as they will not be allowed to store them in the waxing room.
Guests will be asked that while skiing if they come across another group, they should maintain distance and wear masks if necessary while passing them.
Because guests will not be allowed to be in the Ski Center unless they are checking in, there will be a fire that is maintained near the flagpole for warmth. Guests will still be required to follow all regulations while around the fire.
Equipment Use
When skiers check back in for the day, they should leave their skis and poles on the ski racks outside of the Ski Center, and line their boots up along the outside of the building. At the close of each day, the staff will then collect and thoroughly sanitize all rental equipment before storing them in their proper places.
If a guest is interested in purchasing merchandise from the Ski Center Store, staff should handle all merchandise with gloves. Guests should not physically touch any item until they have committed to purchasing it. Therefore, the trying on of clothing will not be allowed. Likewise, returns will also not be accepted this year.
