We got about 5.5 inches of snow yesterday. Though the trail conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll still be able to be open tomorrow! Traditional skiing will be the way to go, as the conditions aren’t suitable for skate skiing. Some areas are patchy from the washout we got a couple weeks ago with ice and water underneath the snow in some spots. There are also sticks down from the ice storm we recently had.
Our groomer set tracks on Boardpile, Lake Trail, Hidden Pond, Backway, Big Fern, Laurel, and Pitchpine.
Conditions aside, we’re super excited that we’re able to open tomorrow, and we look forward to seeing lots of skiers up here!
SOME REMINDERS:
- The mountain road can be very slick. We recommend that anyone coming up have a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive car. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be able to rescue anyone who gets stuck on the mountain.
- We are not able to provide food or beverages of any sort this year due to COVID-19. You are welcome to bring your own food, but all trash is pack in, pack out.
- Due to the time of sunset, we will be closing each day by 4:30.
